Hire Terms & Safety Declaration
Please read these terms carefully before booking your bike hire with Plymouth Bike Hire. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read and agree to all terms below.
By booking and hiring bicycles from Plymouth Bike Hire, the booking party confirms that:
- •They are authorised to make the booking on behalf of all riders.
- •All riders are medically fit to cycle and have no condition that could affect safety.
- •Any injuries or medical conditions will be disclosed to staff before riding.
- •Cycling involves inherent risks and riders accept responsibility for their own safety.
- •All equipment will be used responsibly and safety instructions followed.
- •Helmets provided must be used appropriately.
- •The booking party accepts responsibility for loss or damage to hired equipment.
- •Valid photo ID may be required before hire.
These terms apply to all riders included in the booking.

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- •More than 48 hours before hire: Full refund.
- •Within 48 hours of hire: Please contact us on 07577 279928. We will do our best to rebook your slot for another date.
- •No-shows: No refund will be provided for no-shows without prior notice.
- •Weather: We operate in all weathers. Cancellations due to weather are treated as standard cancellations. We recommend dressing appropriately for the conditions.
All hired equipment remains the property of Plymouth Bike Hire. The booking party is responsible for:
- •Returning all equipment in the same condition as received.
- •Reporting any damage or mechanical issues to staff immediately.
- •The cost of repair or replacement for damage caused by misuse or negligence.
- •Returning all bikes by the agreed return time. Late returns may incur additional charges.
Plymouth Bike Hire accepts no liability for loss, injury, or damage arising from the use of hired equipment, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
